Submerged Aerobic Fixed Film Reactor (SAFF) is an inexpensive method of waste water treatment and sewage sanitation that is widely used in residential and commercial complexes. This technology primarily works on the three stages that are Primary Settlement, Secondary Treatment and Final Settlement / Clarification. This type of method is perfect for small to medium sized water treatment plants where land availability is a concern and full time operational manning is not feasible. Since this does not consists of any moving parts therefore maintenance requirements are minimal.
